A national Seminar on Diabetes was organized by Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University in Collaboration with SBEBA. It was a 2 days National Seminar conducted on 08.12.2018 & 09.12.2018 at Hotel Classic Diplomat, Mahipalpur, New Delhi.
The core resource persons were Dr.Rajkumar, K.C, M.D, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Roganidana, RGAMC, Mahe and Dr.Remya Krishnan, M.D, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Dravya Guna, RGAMC, Mahe. The organizing secretary was Dr.Milind Deshmukh, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Indian Medical . . . . . . System, SGTU.
The delegates who participated in the seminar were Academician, practitioners, PG & Ph.D. Scholars, Medical Officers and UG Students from different parts of the country. The Co-sponsor for the programme was AIMIL Pharmaceuticals, New Delhi.
The topics discussed were Ayurvedic Tridosha Theorem, Pancha Samprapti, Guna Siddhanta, Application of basics in the treatment of Diabetes, Diagnostic triad approach, etc.
The programme ended with a valedictory function presided over by Dr.Ravindra Kumar Arahunsi, Dean, Faculty of Indian Medical System.
