National level workshop on marma chikitsa was indented to provide all the participants the complete theoretical knowledge of the origin, history, location and clinical implications of marma points. Hands-on training was given regarding stimulation and potential uses of marma points. Marma chikitsa is a strong weapon in armory of Ayurvedic clinician to combat musculo-skeletal pains, stress, lifestyle disorders like hypertension, Diabetes, Obesity etc.
National seminar on motor neuron diseases focused on integrating the modern knowledge on motor neuron disorder with the classical understanding of Avarana. It encompassed an in-depth analysis of the condition starting from its aetiology till intervention and even prevention. But there is uncertainty in the treatment and prognosis. This seminar was successful in revealing the clinical application of Ayurvedic concepts for better prognosis of Motor neuron disorders.
