Dhanwantari Ayurveda Association FIMS organized the Skill Development Programme, entitled as “Ayurveda in general practice” on 07-03-2020 at 1:45 PM in Medical Auditorium. The guest speakers were Vd. Vinay Welankar (Ayurvedacharya, Mumbai) and Vd. Santosh Nevpurkar (Ayurvedacharya, Mumbai). The event started with lord Dhanwantari Vandana followed by felicitation of guest speaker. Dr. Ravindra Kumar Arahunasi Dean, FIMS delivered the presidential speech. Dr. G L Khanna, Pro Vice Chancellor, SGTU Addressed with the gathering. The session was handed over to guest speakers started with Vd. Santosh Nevpurkar, he delivered the lecture on importance of samhitas, qualities of good physician how to know the Ayurveda explained with many examples of his own experiences in his clinical practice and followed by the lecture of Vd. Vinay Welanker explained about the emergency management of high grade fever, hiccup, Cancer etc. through Ayurveda and also described about importance of Siddhantans. Whole event was managed by students of Dhanwantari Ayurveda association. The programme was attended by all faculty members and students of BAMS. Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Vidyavati Hiremath.
