Mater of Public Health (MPH Program) for AYUSH Graduates

We are hereby happy to inform you that Alumni welfare, Faculty of Indian Medical System organized the second leg of its series of four sessions on career guidance to guide our first alumni batch, motivate current batch of internees and provide inspiration to the three batches of undergraduate scholars. The second talk was on the topic “Mater of Public Health (MPH Program) for AYUSH Graduates”, by Dr. Muneer Mammi Kutty, Program Associate at PATH, New Delhi.

The session began at sharp 11:00AM with a welcome address by Dr. Ravikant Sharma, Assistant Professor, FIMS. Prof. (Dr.) Jyoti Kumbar, Dean, FIMS delivered the presidential address. The session delivered by Dr. Muneer Mammi Kutty encompassed the opportunities for AYUSH UG in Public Health. He also covered about various domains such as scope as a Researcher, Clinician, Academician, etc. The lecture was inspiring and motivating for the scholars and faculty. He also mentioned the methods of increasing competency, employability, skill development, entrepreneurship, etc. A small session of interaction was also set after the lecture where faculties and students raised their queries regarding the scope of Ayurveda in Public health.  There were more than 160 registered participants for the live webinar. The session was followed by remarks from Prof. (Dr.) Jyoti Kumbar, Dean, FIMS and vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Nithin Krishnan, Assistant Professor, FIMS to the resource person, Dean, organizing team, participants, and other associated faculties for their support in conducting the event successfully. The event concluded at 12:30 PM and extended invitation to all the participants for the upcoming event of Alumni Support Series on 11th August, 2021 on the topic Preparing for All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET).
