Preparing for Civil Service Examination

We are hereby happy to inform you that Alumni welfare, Faculty of Indian Medical System organized the first leg of its series of four sessions on career guidance to guide our first alumni batch, motivate current batch of internees and provide inspiration to the four batches of undergraduate scholars. The first talk was on the topic “Preparing for Civil Service Examination”, by Dr. Muneer Mammi Kutty, Program Associate (Strategy), PATH (Global Health Organization), New Delhi.

The session began at sharp 11:00AM with a welcome address by Dr. Nithin Krishnan R, Assistant Professor, FIMS. Prof. Dr. Jyoti Kumbar, Dean, FIMS inaugurated the Alumni Support Series and delivered the presidential address. The session delivered by Dr. Muneer Mammi Kutty encompassed the introduction to civil service with its history and purpose, roles and responsibilities of a civil servant, steps of preparing for Civil Service Examination and motivating the scholars to give an attempt. The lecture was inspiring and motivating for the scholars and faculty. A small session of interaction was also set after with the resource person, where queries raised by students and faculties were discussed.  There were more than 150 registered participants for the live webinar. The session was followed by remarks from Prof. Dr. Jyoti Kumbar, Dean, FIMS and vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Ravikant Sharma, Assistant Professor, FIMS to the resource person, Dean, organizing team, participants, and other associated faculties for their support in conducting the event successfully. The event was concluded at 01:00 PM and winding up the 12 day Alumni Support Series successfully.
