Scope of Simulation in Teaching Case Study and Ayurveda Diagnosis

Department of Roga Nidana Evum Vikruti Vijnana, Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University, organized a webinar on the topic of “Scope of Simulation in Teaching Case Study and Ayurveda Diagnosis” on 31st January, 2022. The webinar was held in a structured and systematic manner with precise timelines charted. The session began at sharp 11:00 AM with a welcome address by Dr. Nithin Krishnan R, Associate Professor, FIMS. Prof. (Dr.) Prasanna V. Savanur, Dean, FIMS inaugurated the webinar and delivered the presidential address. Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Gupta, HOD, Dept. of Roga Nidana Evum Vikruti Vijnana, FIMS, has talked about utility and relevance of simulation in teaching. The session was delivered by Dr. Durga Lakshmi S, Assistant Professor in the Department of Roga Nidana, Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amritapuri. The lecture was inspiring and motivating for the scholars and faculties. The program was planned with a view to update and amalgamate pragmatism by applying teaching methodologies in class. A small session of interaction was also set after with the resource person, where queries have raised by students and faculties were addressed.  There were more than 227 registered participants for this webinar. The session was followed by remarks from Dr. Nithin R. Krishnan, and vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Ravikant Sharma, Assistant Professor, FIMS to the resource person, Dean, organizing team, participants, and other associated faculties for their support in conducting the event successfully. The event was concluded successfully at 12:00 PM.
