In continuation of “AAYURKSHITIJ-2022” the “Transitional Curriculum” for Freshers Batch of BAMS, Day 3 (13.04.2022) Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University hosts its formal inaugural ceremony for the ongoing 15 days interdisciplinary transitional curriculum program.
The event was graced by the auspicious presence of Prof.(Dr.) R.C. Kuhad, Hon. Pro Chancellor, SGT University, Prof.(Dr.) O.P. Kalra, Hon. Vice Chancellor, SGT University and Prof.(Dr.) Prasanna V. Savanur, Dean, FIMS, SGT University.
The event started by seeking the blessings of Lord Dhanwantari through melodious Vandana by the students and lamp lighting by the dignitaries, fresh admitted students and their parents.
Dr. Anupam Sharma, welcomed the gathering and presented the rationale behind the 15 days Transitional Curriculum and it is relevance.
The students were inducted with the Leadership and Officials at SGT University along with the brief origin & history of the Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust, SGT University and Faculty of Indian Medical System with its achievements and goals, as per the guidelines laid by the NCISM by Dr. Konica Gera.

Dr. Adriane Mocker Novaes shared the valuable speech on the topic Ayurveda in Brazil, the challenges of teaching and clinical practice. She also shared her experience in the field of Ayurveda in Brazil. She Motivated the students with her huge experience in medicinal plants in India and Brazil. She also shared the Goals and challenges of Ayurveda in Brazil.
