In continuation of \u201cAAYURKSHITIJ-2022<\/strong>\u201d the \u201cTransitional Curriculum<\/strong>\u201d for Freshers Batch of BAMS, Day 2(12.04.2022) of the event started with Dhanwantri Vandana by Tanvi Arora student of B.A.M.S 4th<\/sup> year. This was followed by Lecture on \u201cPersonal health and hygiene<\/strong>\u201d by Dr. Yogesh<\/strong>, Assistant Professor,Department of Swasthavritta FIMS from 9:00-10:00 am. He elaborated the dimensions of Health, Importance and relevance of hygiene in context of Ayurveda classics. Next session was conducted by Dr Yagyik Mishra<\/strong> Assistant Professor,Department of Swasthavritta FIMS \u00a0from 10:00 am -11:00 am on \u201cASUS \u201c(Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Sowa-Rigpa) medical systems and their roles in primary health care, public health, and disease prevention<\/strong>. He elaborated basic principles of Ayurveda, Unani,Siddha and Sowa Rigpa. \u00a0The third session was on \u201cRole of AYUSH in COVID management and its scientific outcomes\u201d<\/strong> by Dr Nitin,<\/strong> Associate Professor,Department of Roga Nidana Evum Vikriti Vigyan ,FIMS from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. This session covered the steps taken by Ministry of AYUSH and its various institutions in preparing guidelines, protocols, advisories, leadership information etc during various phases of Covid 19 pandemic. Afterwards Dr. Monika<\/strong> Assistant Professor,Department of Swasthavritta FIMS delivered lecture on \u201cNational Health Status, Goals and Policies<\/strong>\u201d from 12:00-1:00 pm. She told students about the current national health status and policies and role of AYUSH in these.\u00a0 The post lunch session was conducted by Mr Pratap Chand Shastri<\/strong> on the importance of learning and understanding Sanskrit language for ayurveda scholars.
