Department of Agada Tantra evum Vidhi Vaidyaka, FIMS, SGT University has conducted a 1-day field trip to Snake Park (National Zoological Park, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi) on 16/12/2023. The visit was purposed for practical exposure of 3rd BAMS students regarding snakes, its identification and habitat as per guide lines of NCISM syllabus. Our team consisting of 40 students were taken to field visit accompanied by all the 3 faculties of Agad Tantra Department –Prof (Dr) Ashish Mishra (HOD), Dr Shweta . . . . . . Huddar (Associate Professor) and Dr Anjali Sanjeev (Assistant Professor) by bus arranged by the University.
This field visit benefited our students with wider knowledge about various snakes and their species. Afterwards students were taken for a zoo visit as well. Due to the time constrain we ended our trip by 1:30 pm. The bus reached back to the campus at 3:45 pm.
It was a successful trip and our students were highly benefited. The practical knowledge of students was enhanced by this field visit.
