UTILITY AND CHALLENGES OF LEARNING PRAMEHA NIDANA

Department of Roganidana Evum Vikruti Vijnana, Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University, organized three sessions of E – Focus Group Discussion on the topic “Utility and Challenges of Learning Prameha Nidana” from 8th to 10th November, 2021. The Focus Group was held in a structured and systematic manner with precise timelines charted. The programs were planned with a view to update and amalgamate pragmatism from the Ayurvedic classics with respect to reframing of etiologies in regard to Prameha. The event directly and indirectly involved 21 experts from different branches at different phases of planned focus group event. The event was hosted through Cisco Webex Platform. Approximately it took 540 minutes of discussion . . . . . . pouring divergent ideas for three days. The three days event commenced by introductory address from Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Gupta, HOD, Dept. Roganidana Evum Vikruti Vijnana, FIMS,SGTU followed by introduction and purpose statement and expected outcome from participants given by the Moderator, Dr. Nithin Krishnan. R, Assistant Prof., Dept. of Roganidan Evum Vikruti Vigyan, FIMS, SGTU and Welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Jyoti Kumbar, Associate Dean, FIMS, SGTU followed by the discussion on the topic which continued for three days with 21 panelists from various institutions across the country. The event was concluded with summary and vote of thanks by Assistant Moderator Dr. Ravikant Sharma, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Rognidan evum Vikruti Vigyan, FIMS, SGTU.
