The fresh batch of the 2018-19 academic year of B.A.M.S, Faculty of Indian Medical System was officially inducted to the University by the “Shishyopanayaneeyam Samskar – Induction 2018-2019” on 27.11.2018 & 28.11.2018 at Auditorium, III Floor, C- Block.
The programme started with an inaugural session which was presided over by Prof. Gurpreet S Tuteja, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr.Kamlesh Kohli, Director Medical Sciences and Shri D.K. Mishra, Registrar, SGT University. Dr.Ravindrakumar Arahunsi, Dean, FIMS introduced University Officials and Teaching Faculty of Indian Medical System. The students were given Introduction about the University and oriented on various topics like Examination system, Motivational issues like Ethical, Moral, . . . . . . Dressing sense, Communications Skills, Personality Development, regarding Mentor-Mentee policy, Feedback Mechanism, Anti Ragging, Sexual Harassment, Learning Methodology, Pedagogy, Hostel rules, Sports facility, Hospital Facilities, Cultural events, IT Information (Wifi etc), Student section details and Central Library Facilities.
The programme ended with a visit by students to various departments, library, hospital, etc.
