Kriya Sharir Quiz Competition

Department of Kriya sharir, Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGTU, successfully conducted Kriya Sharir Quiz Competition in the lecture auditorium 009 D Block, on 29th November 2019, starting 11 AM for the students of BAMS First Year in which three different groups with four participants in each group gave tough battle to each other. Rules and regulations of the quiz were explained at the beginning. It was interesting four-round competition, including first round of one line/word answers , second round of objective questions with options, third round of Pictorial questions and fourth round of rapid fire round which engaged the students for an hour. The students showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions. Though some of the questions were very tricky, the groups tried to answer them with confidence. The questions put forth to the groups were intriguing, exciting and made the audiences go ‘Aah!’ and clap when the teams answered correctly. Although the groups participated actively, the group that scored the most was Group 3 (Mansavi,Neeti, Vivek and Mukul). Other participants (Aniket, Chanchal,Sanjivani, Deepak ,Pulkit, Chaya, Harshita and Himika) also earned a lot of appreciation from all present.

The event was officially inaugurated by The Dean FIMS, Dr. Ravindra K Arahaunsi, the job of quiz master was handled by Dr. Kapil Yadav (Assistant Professor, Department of Kriya Sharir), event was judged by Dr Kothainayagi (Assistant Professor, Department of Samhita & Siddhnata).

Event also got blessings from Prof. Dr. S.C. Mahapatra, our special guest for the event, Sir, guided students about bright future of Ayurveda, students really seemed glued to his word. Prizes were distributed to winning team by our guest Dr. S.C. Mahapatra and Dean FIMS, Dr. Ravinder K Arahaunsi.

At the conclusion of event, vote of thanks was given by Dr. Anupam Sharma, Associate Professor, Department of Kriya Sharir. Event was very informative and knowledge enriching competition for the participants along with the audience. FIMS encourages such positive competitions and hopes to bring out the best in all its students through such competitive events, while ensuring that the students learn through all possible ways- not just through books and classroom teaching.
