On 16th January 2020 the Internship Induction program was conducted at B Block, TV studio, SGT University. The program began with a grand inauguration where lamp lightning was done along with Lord Dhanwantari Vandana in the presence of the faculty and the students following which was the welcome address by the Dean, Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University, Then the oath taking ceremony was conducted in which the students took the Charaka oath of service for the society. Following which the inauguration ceremony was concluded with a vote of thanks by the M. S. Ayurveda Hospital Dr. Avnish Pathak. Post lunch sessions included informative lectures by Dr. Deswal from the dept. of community medicine, FMHS, Sgt University and Dr. Umesh Lamba Dy. M. S. Medical hospital and research centre, Sgt University. The event concluded by a thank you note by the M. S. Ayurveda Hospital.
Day 2 began with an enlightening address by the Pro Chancellor SGT University Prof. Dr. Syam Lal Singla following which the faculty of FIMS, SGT University detailed the students about the entire internship program in detail and their roles, responsibilities & duties during their period of internship in different departments at Ayurveda Hospital SGT, University.
The 3rd day of the internship induction program started with introduction of different departments of Ayurveda hospital, Pharmacy and Clinical Laboratory of Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University in the pre lunch session. Post lunch the Valedictory function was carried out marking an end to the successful 3 day Induction program for the Internees.
