AAYURKSHITIJ-2022” the “Transitional Curriculum” for Freshers Batch of BAMS

In continuation of “AAYURKSHITIJ-2022” the “Transitional Curriculum” for Freshers Batch of BAMS, Day 3 (13.04.2022) Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University hosts its formal inaugural ceremony for the ongoing 15 days interdisciplinary transitional curriculum program.

The event was graced by the auspicious presence of Prof.(Dr.) R.C. Kuhad, Hon. Pro Chancellor, SGT University, Prof.(Dr.) O.P. Kalra, Hon. Vice Chancellor, SGT University and Prof.(Dr.) Prasanna V. Savanur, Dean, FIMS, SGT University.

The event started by seeking the blessings of Lord Dhanwantari through melodious Vandana by the students and lamp lighting by the dignitaries, fresh admitted students and their parents.

Dr. Anupam Sharma, welcomed the gathering and presented the rationale behind the 15 days Transitional Curriculum and it is relevance.

The students were inducted with the Leadership and Officials at SGT University along with the brief origin & history of the Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust, SGT University and Faculty of Indian Medical System with its achievements and goals, as per the guidelines laid by the NCISM by Dr. Konica Gera.

The students from senior batches shared their experiences at FIMS, SGT University with the fresh admitted students.

Prof.(Dr.) Prasanna V. Savanur, Dean, FIMS, SGT University shared his experience of Ayurveda with the students and motivated the students through sharing various examples of Ayurveda.

The scientific sessions by Dr. V. N. Joshi, President, Association of Ayurveda, UK.

Dr. V. N. Joshi shared his experience of Ayurveda with the students and motivate the students with motivational speech.

and Dr. Adriane Mocker Novaes, Director, Madhav Ayurveda and Yoga Institute in Florianopolis SC Brazil and Atlantic forest Paraty RJ inspired the students to achieve great heights through learning Ayurveda system of medicine. Dr. Adriane Mocker Novaes shared the valuable speech on the topic Ayurveda in Brazil, the challenges of teaching and clinical practice. She also shared her experience in the field of Ayurveda in Brazil. She Motivated the students with her huge experience in medicinal plants in India and Brazil. She also shared the Goals and challenges of Ayurveda in Brazil.

The session was moderated by Dr. Anupam Sharma.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Dr. Jyoti Kumbar.
