Field Visit of Ayur-genomics at CSIR-IGIB

“A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions” Dr. Bhavana has pioneered the establishment of the field of Ayurgenomics at CSIR-IGIB for more than 20 years. Her group for the first time has provided a molecular and genomic basis to the principles of Prakriti and developed ML-based approaches for Prakriti assessments.
Having our . . . . . . students meet Dr. Parashar and her team at CSIR for a session then, was a privilege. There, she demonstrated the concept of DNA isolation and gave hands-on training on instruments for anatomical feature assessments. The tour of CSIR, along with Dr. Parashar’s insightfulness, was the ideal kind of experience that we hope for our students to gain while they are at SGT.
